2003 Convention
Show Stock for Sale

We began in rabbits with just a couple of bucks and does that were given to us by a friend. We thought that maybe having a few around for meat production for our dinner table would be a good thing. We tend towards self sufficiency anyway, so this seemed like a logical step. 2 years later, we have a 20X30 building just for our rabbits. I am currently building an upstairs so we can put our "stuff" in there. We have about 40 holes (cages). They are always full. We keep about 15 breeding does and 6 or 8 Bucks. We have more bucks than recomended because we have several different breeds and colors.

Those first rabbits are gone now, but will never be forgotten. All of our stock is purebred and papered. We are currently working on having them all registered. We raise Satin, Standard Rex and Champagne D'Argent. We do have some of the Netherland Dwarf, but they are not purebred. We belong to the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association), ASRBA (American Satin Rabbit Breeders Association), NWSRBA (Northwest Satin Rabbit Breeders Association),  and CRF (Champagne D'Argent Federation).

The purpose of this web site is to accomplish several things. We want to introduce you to us, to what we do and to the wonderful world of rabbits. It is my hope that you will find the information that you need on these pages and links to gain the knowledge required to make an intelligent decision about rabbits, if and how they will work into your lifestyle. They are fun to play with. They are educational to watch as the cycle of life is short. Showing rabbits is a wonderful hobby. Most importantly, to us anyway, is that they are really great tasting and the most nutritional of all the meats available today.

If you are looking for a 4H or FFA project for your children. Rabbits are great. They do not take up much room and are fairly easy to care for. A stackable 3 cage set up will fit nicely into the corner of a garage or shed. They only eat about 4 to 6 oz a day of food and drink lots of water. Considering the gestation is 32 days, you can easily raise from as few as one to as many as 7 or 8 litters per year.

Feel free to E-Mail us to ask questions. Look over the site. Learn. Join our listserver. Enjoy.
